JOB DETAILS:
Position Overview:
The Local Authority Superannuation Fund (LASF) is inviting qualified and motivated individuals to apply for a Procurement & Supplies Officer position on a six-month contract basis, starting in August 2025.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to contribute to a dynamic working environment and gain valuable experience in procurement and supply chain operations within the public sector.
Key Qualifications:
- A recognized qualification in Procurement and Supplies, such as a diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
- Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply – ZIPS) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, tendering procedures, and supply chain management principles.
Added Advantage:
- Experience in Stores Management, including inventory control, record keeping, and asset tracking, will be considered a strong plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
