JOB DETAILS:

Summary: Directly supervises the production crew on a specific shift, ensuring safety and production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct a crew of operators (LHD, Truck, etc.) to achieve daily production goals.
• Conduct pre-shift safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Inspect the work area for hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor operational performance and provide real-time coaching to operators.
• Complete shift reports, including production data, manpower, and any incidents.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational issues on shift.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience in underground or surface mining operations.
• Proven leadership and crew supervision skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mining methods and equipment.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Relevant mine supervisor certification may be required.
