JOB DETAILS:
Background
Our Client is looking for a Chief Academic Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all academic and registry functions of the University, ensuring excellence in academic administration, student records management, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, admissions, examinations, graduation processes, and institutional accreditation.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English Language and Mathematics.
- Master's Degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- PhD is highly desirable.
- Training in Academic Administration, Quality Assurance, Institutional Management, or University Governance.
- Membership with relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience in higher education administration.
- At least five (5) years in senior academic leadership or registrar-level position.
- Demonstrated experience working with accreditation bodies and regulatory institutions.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
