JOB DETAILS:
The Judiciary is an arm of Government of the Republic of Zambia. Its mission is to provide effective and efficient administration of justice accessible to all people in Zambia through impartial and timely adjudication without fear or favour". In order to improve service delivery, the Judiciary in Kitwe Region on the Copperbelt, intends to fill the following vacant positions as indicated below. Applications are therefore invited from suitable candidates to fill the above positions:
(SALARY SCALE JSSO2) (ANNUAL BASIC SALARY K44, 019.04) The successful candidates will fill position at Kitwe High Court and will report to the assistant Registrar.

The main responsibility of the driver is to provide transport services on official business in order to facilitate the mobility of officers, materials and equipment in the institution and some of the responsibilities will include the following:
• Undertakes regularly and safely the transportation of the officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate their mobility.
• Undertakes timely the preparation of accidents reports in order to facilitate decision making. Undertakes timely the completion of log books in order to enhance accountability for journeys.
• Undertakes timely the inspection of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their road worthiness. Undertakes effectively the cleaning of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their suitability for use.
• Undertakes timely the reporting of the vehicles faults in order to facilitate their resolutions.

Knowledge and skills Required:
• Grade Nine (9) Certificate or better.
• Possession of a GCE Certificate will be an added advantage
• Able to communicate effectively in English. Minimum Vocational/Professional Qualifications
• Drivers' license
• Government Competence Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
• 2 years’ experience. Communication Skills
• Written Skills - Ability to write reports.
• Oral Skills - Ability to communicate in English.
