We are looking for an exceptional, people-first HR Manager to champion our company culture, keep us strictly compliant, support all our operations across various companies and locations.
The Role
This isn’t your typical HR gig. You will champion growth, leadership development, performance improvement and a clearly defined culture.
You will own the entire employee lifecycle—from sourcing stellar local talent and managing onboarding, to driving performance, fostering a vibrant culture, and ensuring our operations strictly align with our business goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for our core team, ensuring we hire people who align with our values.
- Compliance & Policy: Keep us 100% compliant with the Zambian Employment law.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Act as the primary point of contact for internal staff, resolving grievances, driving engagement initiatives, and building a high-trust workplace.
- Performance & Development: Implement performance review frameworks and coordinate performance improvement to help our team grow.
- Design learning journeys
- Facilitate performance improvement programs
- HR Administration: Maintain flawless internal employee records, manage leave, and coordinate with the finance team for internal payroll.
What We’re Looking For
- The Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree.
- The Legal Must-Have: Active, valid registration with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a fast-paced corporate or professional services environment in Zambia.
- The Legal Eye: Deep, up-to-date knowledge of Zambian labor laws and statutory regulations.
- The Soft Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence, a trustworthy demeanor, and the ability to balance business goals with employee advocacy.
