About the Role: Investigations and Compliance Manager Jobs in Lusaka
The successful candidate will be responsible for directing complex internal and external investigations, enforcing compliance policies, and safeguarding company assets. This role demands a proactive leader who can develop and implement robust compliance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate across departments to minimize risk and uphold the highest ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee comprehensive investigations ensuring adherence to policies across retail outlets and distribution centers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, ethical guidelines, and anti-fraud procedures aligned with statutory regulations and corporate governance.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and lead compliance audits to identify vulnerabilities and apply proactive loss-prevention strategies.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports, executive summaries, and documentation suitable for senior management and legal purposes.
- Manage and mentor investigations and compliance teams to enhance operational capacity and maintain integrity standards.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Human Resources, and Operations to identify process gaps, reduce risk exposure, and enforce corrective actions.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Security Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of proven experience in corporate investigations, compliance, or law enforcement, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience within the retail or FMCG sector is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Proficient conflict management capabilities.
- Advanced report writing and documentation skills.
