Invitation to Submit Expressions of Interest Lease and Development of UNZA Land at the University of Zambia

UNZA/EOI/REG/2022

The University of Zambia invites Expressions of Interest from interested developers for the Lease and development of the following pieces of land:

1. The land southwest of UNZA Great East Road Campus (8.5 ha)

2. The Land within Marshlands Village fronting the Great East Road (8,000m)

3. The land opposite ATDC between Milling Plant and Chinese Memorial Park (33 ha) Potential applicants are required to indicate their preferred pieces of land and development proposals.

The Evaluation Criteria will include the following:

The Response has been correctly signed

The response is valid for at least a period of 90 Days

Valid Tax Clearance if incorporated in Zambia or Where the Respondent, Relevant organisation, Key Contractor or Designated Member is not yet operating in Zambia proof of "good standing with the relevant taxation authority in its country of origin.

Project experience in land development with a minimum experience of five (5) years of managing such projects.

Construction experience on Eligible Projects in the development of Commercial Facilities for a minimum of five (5) years' experience.

A site visit will be conducted on 15 December, 2022 starting at 10:00hrs. Interested developers are expected to gather at Great East Road Campus at the Office of the Resident Engineer who will coordinate the Site Visit.

Submission Procedure

Expressions of Interest for the "LEASE AND DEVELOPMENT OF UNZA LAND" must be submitted before or by Friday, 30 December, 2022 at 10:00 hours in the Tender Box situated on the 4" Floor next to the Senate Chamber of the Central Administration Building for the attention of the:
