Key Responsibilities

  • Identify sales and market growth opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Plan, prioritize and execute daily, weekly and monthly sales activities.
  • Conduct customer calls in line with approved call schedules.
  • Achieve volume, market share and distribution targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure effective in-trade execution including availability, pricing, visibility and promotions.
  • Generate customer orders and complete sales administration accurately and on time.
  • Conduct in-trade audits and ensure POSM is properly deployed and collected.
  • Utilize sales and information systems effectively to track performance.
  • Control expenditure within approved budgets.
  • Uphold company standards, policies and corporate image.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum: Diploma or Degree in Sales/Marketing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales.
  • At least one (1) year as a Sales Representative in a similar environment.
  • Ideal: Three (3) or more years’ experience in FMCG sales.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
