We are seeking a vibrant, dedicated, and results-driven Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be organised, hardworking, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities or duties
- Assist in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain proper inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well organised.
- Assist with planning and coordinating deliveries and collections.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in achieving operational targets.
- Train, guide, and motivate warehouse staff where necessary.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of inventory and stock control procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to take initiative.
Experience needed
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or supervision.
