We are seeking a vibrant, dedicated, and results-driven Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be organised, hardworking, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
  • Maintain proper inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well organised.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager in achieving operational targets.
  • Train, guide, and motivate warehouse staff where necessary.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of inventory and stock control procedures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
  • Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to take initiative.

Experience needed

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or supervision.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
