JOB DETAILS:

GMC Autofix Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled Welder / Metal Fabricator to support our engineering and fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and components.
Responsibilities or duties
- Perform welding and fabrication work to approved specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install metal components
- Repair damaged structures and equipment
- Operate fabrication machinery and welding equipment safely
- Maintain quality standards and workshop safety procedures
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Certificate or Trade Qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or related field
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience needed
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
