JOB DETAILS:
This position will be reporting to the Head of Engineering Department.
Academic Qualifications & Experience Requirements.
- Grade 12 School Certificate,
- (BSc. or BEng. (Electrical) Diploma (Electrical), MEIZ,
- REng with valid 2025 Practicing License Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) must be attached.
- At least 2 Years of Relevant Work Experience (Documented).
Duties to Be Undertaken:
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
- Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
- Compiling reports for different stakeholders.
- Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
- Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
- Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients. Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
- Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required. Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
- Observing health and safety standards
- Completing quality assurance
- Supervising crew members
- Preparing estimates for time and material costs.
