Guided by our vision to become a world-class global brand, we are seeking a dedicated Accountant to strengthen our financial and operational backbone.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. BRANCH PERFORMANCE SUPERVISION

• Monitor daily branch reports and consolidate performance data.
• Confirm accuracy of amounts banked and reconcile daily transactions.
• Flag anomalies in sales and expenses to management.

2. PAYMENT & PAYROLL MANAGEMENT

• Create accurate payment instructions via internet banking.
• Process salaries, supplier payments, rent, and other obligations.
• Maintain records of employees, landlords, and suppliers.

3. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

• Prepare and submit statutory returns (NHIMA, VAT, PAYE, NAPSA).
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and contract obligations.

4. STOCK & AUDIT OVERSIGHT

• Supervise auditors during physical stock counts.
• Ensure stock records in the system are accurate and updated immediately upon arrival.
• Adjust stock entries in the system when required.

5. FINANCIAL REPORTING & ANALYSIS

• Prepare monthly management accounts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Provide actionable insights on financial performance.
• Compile yearly reports to track growth and trends.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ZICA membership (minimum Licentiate level); ACCA or CIMA is an added advantage.
• 3–5 years’ experience in accounting/finance, preferably in retail or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
• Strong proficiency in internet banking and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and compliance skills.
