We are inviting suitably qualified, competent, and highly motivated professionals based in Lusaka to apply for the position of:

1. Accounting Intern (1)

Key Responsibilities

a)    Financial Transactions &

Bookkeeping:

• Accurately record financial transactions in line with company accounting procedures.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts.

b)   Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist in debtors and creditors reconciliations and ensure timely follow-ups.

c)    Reporting & Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with Zambian tax laws and financial regulations.

d)   Payroll & Budget Support:

• Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
• Provide support in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring.

e)    Record Management:

• Maintain proper records and filing of all financial documents.
• Safeguard confidentiality and accuracy of financial information

f)     Compliance:

• Preparing and Submitting NAPSA, NHIMA & ZRA returns.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Not less than One (1) relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to work in a team environment.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
