Background
Great North Road Academy Group of Schools, located in Lusaka, Zambia, is currently recruiting for multiple full-time teaching jobs in Lusaka as well as internship opportunities. We invite qualified, committed professionals and recent graduates to join our vibrant educational community and contribute to the development and wellbeing of our learners.
Boarding Patron and Matron (2 positions)
Responsibilities
- Supervise learners in the boarding section, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Maintain discipline, order, and cleanliness in dormitories and surrounding areas.
- Monitor daily routines including study time, meals, and rest periods.
- Provide guidance, care, and support to boarders.
- Report concerns promptly to school management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a boarding matron or patron with verifiable references.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work compassionately and responsibly with children.
