Location: Balastone Park, Lusaka

Newday Lodge and Apartments, a serene and fast-growing hospitality destination, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our dedicated team. If you are passionate about culinary excellence and ready to make an impact in a refined environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Summary:
The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing meals, maintaining high hygiene standards, managing the kitchen team, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food quality.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Age: Must be strictly between 30 to 35 years old
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience in the hospitality or hotel industry
3. Strong knowledge in:
   • Menu planning and recipe development
   • Food preparation and presentation
   • Kitchen hygiene, health, and safety regulations
4. Demonstrated ability in:
   • Budget preparation and cost control
   • Kitchen staff supervision and kitchen workflow management
   • Inventory and stock control systems
5. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, both independently and within a team
6. Uphold high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
7. Possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
