JOB DETAILS:

Sabot Zambia Limited is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the below stated position on a “One-year fixed Contract”:

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee all civil engineering activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Interpret and work from project’s construction drawings, technical specifications and ensure accurate works execution
• Monitor project progress and timelines, managing resources and prompt addressing of operational challenges
• Supervise all site activities including excavation, foundations, structural works and finishing
• Conduct inspections, quality tests and make professional recommendations
• Maintain site records including daily reports and inspection checklists
• Provide regular progress reports to management
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have a Degree in Civil Engineering, plus a qualification in power electrical engineering
• 5 years minimum experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of structural civil works, including concrete and steel structures
• Conversant with AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office
• Excellent appreciation of structural design principles and calculations
• Registered with NCC and/or Engineering Institute of Zambia

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
