Role Overview

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join our client’s team as a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing premium collections, maintaining accurate client accounts, and ensuring effective credit control processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect premiums from clients and ensure timely receipting.
  • Accurately allocate and reconcile payments against client accounts.
  • Issue premium reminders and generate client statements regularly.
  • Monitor outstanding premiums and maintain an up-to-date aged receivables report.
  • Build and maintain professional client relationships while ensuring adherence to payment obligations.
  • Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 pass
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience (insurance industry experience is an added advantage).
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accountable and commercially aware.
  • Confident communicator with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
