JOB DETAILS:

Furaha Farms, located in Chisamba, is hiring a Dairy Herd Team Leader. If you have a strong track record in herd health, milk production, and parlour operations, and a deep passion for dairy farming-we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the health, nutrition, and productivity of the dairy herd
• Manage milking parlour operations
• Train and supervise farm workers in dairy best practices
• Herd health protocols, breeding and record-keeping
• Ensure milk quality, hygiene, and compliance

Requirements:

This is an opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who is ready to step up and lead a small team, take initiative, and grow into a bigger role as the farm grows:-

• 5 years of hands-on relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of milking parlour processes and milk handling
• Ability to lead and train farm staff effectively
• Solid understanding of dairy nutrition, breeding, and disease management
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
