The Role
Data Entry and Maintenance
- Accurately input data from source document into database and spreadsheets.
- Update and verify existing records to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Perform regular data cleaning to remove errors duplicates and outdated information.
- To correct errors and organise information in the manner that will optimise swift and accurate capturing
- To inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
- To prepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant officials
Key performance areas
- All employees and workers are required to conduct themselves in accordance with our EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to; our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers
- Organize and file physical and digital documents according to company policy.
- Retrieve records for internal teams and authorized parties upon request.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information
- Assist with inventory checks, stock and Rock Tools drilled meters reconciliation.
- To offer support with data queries and verifications.
Your profile:
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate/Diploma in IT, Business Administration or related field.
- 1 + year experience in data entry, clerical, or administration role is an advantage
- Fresh graduates with strong computer skills will be considered
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality.
Personal Attributes
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and meeting deadline.
- A valid driver’s license, an added advantage.
- Goal driven and have a track record of achieving those great results through teamwork and collaboration.
- Physical and medical ability to work in a mining environment
- Should be a Zambian National
