Wolfvale Mining Limited is establishing a specialized diesel engine rebuild centre focused on specific light vehicles, trucks, and mining equipment. Our vision is to become a leading engine rebuild facility in Zambia by expanding into heavy mining equipment (HME) and industrial engines.
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for 2 skilled and disciplined Diesel Engine Technicians to join our startup team. These roles are ideal for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with a high-performance workshop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strip, assess, and rebuild diesel engines
- Conduct fault finding and root cause analysis on engine failures
- Measure and inspect components thoroughly (clearances, tolerances, wear limits)
- Assemble engines to OEM standards and specifications
- Maintain clean and organize work areas (5S standards)
- Record work done and support basic documentation of rebuild processes
- Work closely with management to improve processes and turnaround times
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 certificate
- Craft or Trade Certificate in Automotive/Heavy Equipment Repair
- Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
- Experience with Toyota Land Cruiser, trucks (MAN, Volvo, Sino, FAW), CAT, Cummins or similar engines
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a technician
- Valid Driver’s license – Class B unrestricted minimum
- Exposure to mining or heavy equipment engines is an added advantage
- Experience working in structured workshops (OEM or mining environment)
- Proven experience in diesel engine repairs and rebuilds
- Strong understanding of engine components and systems
- Ability to use measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, dial gauges)

- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer literacy
