About the Role
Mushingashi Conservancy is seeking a passionate Ecology Intern to join its conservation team. The selected candidate will be based at the Conservancy and contribute to ecological monitoring and conservation efforts within the Kafue Ecosystem. This role offers hands-on experience in wildlife ecology, habitat management, and GIS mapping.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct field-based ecological surveys and wildlife monitoring.
• Assist with habitat assessments and data collection.
• Utilize QGIS or ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis.
• Support conservation projects focused on the flora and fauna of the region.
• Collaborate with research teams and conservation partners.

Requirements
• Education: Minimum BSc in Terrestrial Ecology or a related field.
• Nationality: Open to Zambian citizens or residents with work authorization.
• GIS Proficiency: Strong skills in QGIS or ArcGIS, with the ability to produce maps independently.
• References: Must provide contactable references.
