JOB DETAILS:

 Recruiting a suitably qualified individual with minimum 2 years' experience in electrical/electronics engineering.
• Role supports solar installation and maintenance operations for Canoe Solar Zambia.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  •2+ years of work experience in electrical/solar field
  • Experience in solar power systems (preferred)
  • Experience with CMMS software (preferred)
  • Must hold valid EIZ License
  • Age: 25-35 years
  • Physically fit (weight not exceeding 80kg)
  • Dedicated and reliable worker
  • Residing near Ibex Hill (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations forcommercial, industrial and residential solar systems
  • Troubleshoot and repairsolar electrical systems and equipment
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating solar installation projects
  • Maintain and monitor solar equipment inventory
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Provide technical support to field teams and customers

Additional Duties:

• Conductquality checkson completed installations
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
  • Assist in training new technicians
  • Participate in site assessments and surveys

Skills & Competencies:

• Strongelectrical troubleshootingskills
  • Knowledge of solar PV systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Physical ability to work on roofs and elevated spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and reporting abilities
