• Deep-Depth & Long-Reach Digging: Excavate to significantly greater depths (often 5–8 meters) and reach further outward than a TLB's backhoe arm can manage—essential for deep sewer lines or steep batter slopes.
• Specialized Attachments: Operate heavy-duty hydraulic attachments like rock breakers/hammers, grapple buckets, or augers for drilling large-diameter holes (tasks that are too powerful for a TLB's auxiliary hydraulics).
• Truck Spotting & Loading: Work in tandem with tipper drivers, signaling them to reverse into the optimal loading position and efficiently loading each truck in 3–4 cycles to achieve target cycle times.
