Responsibilities or duties

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES ( MAIN DUTIES)

• Manages and coordinates effectively the provision of all the academic programs in order to ensure quality education is delivered at the school.
• Manages and coordinates effectively all the administrative functions in order to facilitate smooth running of the school.
• Monitors and evaluates regularly the delivery of academic programs in order to determine their impact and recommend appropriate intervention
• Interprets correctly educational policies to ensure the delivery of quality education.
• Manages staff and utilization of other resources at the school in order to facilitate the attainment of set objectives.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum Primary/Secondary Education: Grade 12/ University entrant
• Minimum Vocational/Professional Qualification: First degree in Education/Primary School Degree
• Communication Skills: Written Skills - Good writing skills, Oral Skills - Excellent Communication Skills.
• Numerical/Computation Skills - Basic
• Other Skills/Attributes: Managerial skill, Creativity and Initiative, Integrity, Self-driven

Experience needed

Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience: 2years teaching experience as deputy head teacher
