Our client in hospitality, is looking for a Head of Security to join their team for a job vacancy within the Hospitality Industry.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Security to lead and oversee all security operations across our fast food chain of more than 100 stores nationwide. This role is critical in safeguarding our people, assets, and brand reputation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will design and implement robust security frameworks, manage risk, and provide leadership to security teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Establish policies, procedures, and standards for physical, operational, and digital security across all stores.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Operational Oversight
- Manage and coordinate security operations across 100+ store locations.
- Oversee CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and other security technologies.
- Ensure effective incident response protocols and crisis management procedures are in place.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise regional and store-level security personnel.
- Provide ongoing professional development and performance management for security staff.
- Foster a culture of vigilance, accountability, and customer safety.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies when necessary.
- Monitor and mitigate risks related to theft, fraud, vandalism, and workplace safety.
Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on security performance, incidents, and risk trends.
- Advise leadership on emerging threats and recommend proactive measures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate or retail security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, risk management, and crisis response.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site operations and large teams.
- Integrity, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
