JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
To provide assurance on completeness of Revenue Accounting, Debtors Management & Credit Control, Retail Operations – cash management & cash control, Bank Reconciliation Review, MIS & Reporting and Management of Channel Activities.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
• Management of collection accounting and Bank Reconciliations
• Daily Reporting – Retail Operations.
• Ensuring Retail outlet reconciliations and Settlement reports are performed and followed up for any corrective action
• Monthly Reporting and Timely Book Closure.
• Completeness of revenue accounting for all channels – Roaming, Interconnect, Postpaid, Prepaid, Corporate & Other debtors.
• Dealer and Other Debtors Reconciliations.
• Ensure dealer and other debtors reconciliations are performed in line with SOP and obtaining balance confirmations from dealers and other debtors
• Managing Incentives process to ensure correct provision, validated incentive versus targets
• Bad Debt Management
• Sharing & Rental Debtors Interconnect, Post-paid Corporate & Enterprise debtors by engaging Enterprise teams.
• Liaison with Supply Chain Management & Payments team over debt swaps.
• Billing Process & Credit Risk Management
• Managing the cash to invoice process in line with SOP and ensuring bottlenecks are addressed within the chain for effective turnaround time

REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
• Professional qualification in Accounting – ACCA/CIMA

Relevant Experience:
• 6-8 years’ experience in accounting and people management
