JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a skilled IT Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. The successful candidate will take engineering ownership of our systems architecting reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that power our operations.
Key responsibilities
- Infrastructure design & deployment: Architect and deploy server and network solutions
- Network engineering: LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, VPN
- Cybersecurity and Compliance: Access control, hardening, patching, audits
- Backup & disaster recovery: RPO/RTO design, DR planning & testing
- Cloud infrastructure: Asure/AWS architecture, provisioning & monitoring
- Remote monitoring systems: Engineer and maintain remote monitoring solutions
- Automation and scripting: Powershell, Bash
- Technical documentation: System architecture, runbooks, change records
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 3+ years hands-on infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server & Linux
- Advanced networking (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP)
- CCNP, MCSE, or equivalent certification
- SCADA or industrial control systems knowledge (added advantage)
- Experience in mining or resources sector (added advantage)

Level of Education: bachelor degree
