Background

Kamimbi Aqua Feed invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following Positions. Theses roles will be based at the Kamimbi Aqua Feed Factory in Siavonga.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Support calibration of instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
  • Help monitor control systems to ensure accurate performance.
  • Participate in troubleshooting faults in automated systems.
  • Assist in maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and SCADA systems.
  • Record and report equipment readings and maintenance activities.
  • Support preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Assist senior technicians during equipment inspections and repairs.
  • Maintain tools and ensure work areas are clean and organized.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering Or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial instruments and control systems
  • Understanding of PLC and automation systems
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and work in industrial environments
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
