About the Agronomy Internship Position

The successful candidate will play a key role in selecting appropriate trial sites and cooperators, establishing and managing agronomy and research trials, as well as collecting and analyzing data. You will support demonstration plots and product launches, assist with quality control and harvesting, and provide technical support to emerging farmers. This internship also involves close collaboration with sales representatives and customers to promote value-adding partnerships within the agricultural sector.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related discipline
• 0 to 1 year of relevant working experience
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of agronomy principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Membership in the Agricultural Institute of Zambia (AIZ) is an advantage
