Background

Execution of internal control policies and procedures to ensure effective compliance with external stakeholders to mitigate potential losses that could have adverse effect on the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of operations in the operations of sales and finance team.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Reviewing and monitoring control activities across functions.
• Identifying and escalating risks of non-compliance.
• Maintaining proper documentation and audit trail of control checks.
• Engaging stakeholders to close identified gaps.
• Supporting Finance leadership in strengthening governance and safeguarding company assets.
• Any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Key Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Minimum of bachelor's degree (BSc) in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
• Full Grade Twelve School Certificate
• Relevant, Recognized and Accredited Professional Accounting Qualification(s)
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive and relevant experience
• Auditing experience or controlling Accounting
• Hands on experience in ERP system, preferably SAP.
