Kamimbi Aqua Feed invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following Positions. These roles will be based at the Kamimbi Aqua Feed Factory in Siavonga.
Responsibilities or duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in designing mechanical components and systems using engineering principles.
- Support maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Participate in inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Assist in preparing technical drawings, reports, and documentation.
- Collect and analyze data for engineering projects.
- Support implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Observe safety standards and company procedures during engineering activities.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and engineering concepts.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a practical work environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
