JOB DETAILS:

Nicol Technologies Ltd, through Vroomotive Autobody, is a reputable and growing player in the automotive repair and motor spares industry. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. We specialise in Autobody repair, fabricating bull bars, carriers, trailers, and a variety of metal components to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately, including bull bars, carriers, and trailers
  
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts to exact measurements and quality standards
  
• Operate metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, rollers, and grinders safely and efficiently
  
• Weld, rivet, and bolt parts to complete assemblies
  
• Maintain and inspect tools, equipment, and work area for safety and efficiency
  
• Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality targets
  
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
  
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes including fabrication of automotive accessories like
• bull bars, carriers, and trailers
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  
• Proficiency in using hand and power metalworking tools and machinery
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety principles
