JOB DETAILS:

Are you passionate about local football and skilled at crafting and compiling compelling stories? PITCHRADAR, a dynamic sports media company, is looking for an experienced Professional Sports Journalist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write engaging and insightful sports articles covering various leagues, clubs, teams, and events.
• Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strong editorial standards.
• Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and industry professionals.
• Stay updated on the latest sports trends, breaking news, and developments.
• Collaborate with our editorial team to produce high-quality reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sports journalism, with a portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
• Deep knowledge of local football, leagues, clubs and athletes.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver timely content.
• Strong research and interview skills.
• A strong interest in Zambian football.
• An ability to present articles/ stories on camera
