Role Overview: Spectrum Credit Limited is looking for driven and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our growing team! As a Portfolio Manager, you will be required to oversee the financial health, growth, and quality of a loan portfolio, monitoring collection rates, and mitigating credit risk for the portfolio assigned
Location/ Branches: Lusaka CBD, Kitwe, Ndola and Kasama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new client onboarding through the official digital client onboarding channel.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, attending to their financial needs timely.
- Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Portfolio at Risk (PAR), and targets.
- Actively engage existing, high-quality clients to achieve refinancing, ensuring long-term portfolio stability.
- Proactively scout and onboard new high-potential loan clients per month and expand the current portfolio.
- Manage and follow up on USSD-based inquiries, successfully converting leads into active loan applicants.
- Secure and process new clients each month to meet aggressive organizational monthly disbursement targets.
- Ensure all lending activities comply with lending policies & regulations, local financial laws, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and "Know Your Customer" (KYC) standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or better in Sales, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in microfinance, insurance, or other relevant industries
- Customer service excellence
- Upholds confidentiality, demonstrates integrity, reliability, and respect in all interactions.
- Self-Motivation, Proactive, results-driven, and able to manage portfolios independently with accountability for targets.
- Dedicated to continuous learning, improving skills, and advance within the organization.
- Skilled at interpreting complex financial data and translating it into actionable strategies that drive sustainable impact.
