Job Description Summary

To create and maintain effective pricing strategies that promote and maximise the profitability of the organisation

Support the development and implementation of profitable and sustainable pricing strategies and plans within own area of responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to evaluate pricing trends, competitor pricing, and consumer demand
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and models that align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and executed
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess pricing performance and identify areas for optimization
  • Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations for stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making
  • Monitor and analyse the impact of pricing changes on sales performance and profitability
  • Support new product launches with pricing analysis and provide guidance on discounting or promotional strategies
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations and pricing integrity across all product lines
  • Monitor pricing performance and adjust strategies based on market changes and customer feed back.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate pricing strategies, performance metrics and recommendations for adjustments

Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate

  • 4 years’ experience in a pricing role
  • Inside market analysis experience
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • Microsoft Office is minimum at intermediate level.

Other Requirements

  • Aurora experience (or other similar system) will be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Availability and ability to travel within assigned area/territory as required.
