JOB DETAILS:
Our client in the Banking industry is looking for a Procurement, Vendor Management & Realty Services Officer to join their team
Responsibilities
• Responsible for implementing procurement and vendor management Policies and Procedures Deliver projects within agreed defined scope/value, time and budget.
• Implement strategic sourcing strategy.
• Identify and develop key vendors and manage and track their performance and capability.
• Identification and mitigation of Sourcing and Vendor risks for projects and business as usual purchases.
• Exploring, identifying and tracking areas of Procurement savings.
• Maintain accurate expenditure profiles and other relevant non – financial information in respect of suppliers / Contractors.
• Identification, implementation and administration of Projects, contracts, and management and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (internal and external).
• Identification of commercial opportunities with suppliers that will benefit.
• Ensure timely deliveries of goods and services in the most cost-effective manner.
• Encourage major suppliers/contractors/consultants to open an account .
• Organize and manage procurement staff within the affiliate and ensure that they have necessary skills and commitment to perform their duties.
• Provide specialist advice and support to the businesses with regards to procurement and vendor management issues.
• Reviewing procurement spends and providing expert advice in reducing costs.
• Maintain Supplier database and contract register.
• Rationalize the supplier base .
• Ensure all contracts are renewed before expiry.
• Undertake vendor / supplier appraisals and evaluations.
• Any other duties that will be assigned by Country Head and Group Managers Procurement and Vendor Management and Realty Services.

Qualifications
• Good First Degree in any Business-Related Field.
• Minimum of Five (5) years post qualification experience.
• Professional affiliation to the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply or CIPS
• Good working knowledge on Health and Safety.
• Good knowledge in Facilities and Real Estate Services.
• Good Knowledge in archiving/Records Management

Work Hours: 8


Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education:
Bachelor Degree
