JOB DETAILS:
Bandar Investment Ltd operates in Mining, processing, and treatment industry, with its Head Office in Lusaka and key sites in Mumbwa and Mpika.
We seek to employ a Regulatory Compliance Officer to be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to implement and maintain compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to engage with the Ministry of Mines on regulatory requirements/standards.
• Ensure that the company is registered with all the required regulatory bodies.
• Ensure the company is up to date on all regulatory requirements (ZEMA, ZRA, NAPSA, Workers’ compensation, NHIMA) etc.
• Develop and implement compliance register
• Monitor and assess regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues and provide recommendations for improvement
• Coordinate with internal departments to develop and maintain compliance training programs
• Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits
• Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies
• Stay up-to-date on new developments in regulatory compliance and industry best practices

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field; will be an added advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification added advantage
• Experience in the finance sector.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies.
