Job Description
Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly motivated and committed employee for the position of Senior Trainer (Fixed Term) to join the Project Development team. We are in search of individuals who can champion Barrick’s DNA by:

Reporting to the Training Coordinator – Projects, you will be responsible for facilitating Safety and Specific inductions. i.e., Mining, Process. Maintenance, Job Safety Analysis, Field Level Risk Assessment, Fatigue Management, Confined Space, Isolation, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, etc.

Your duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classrooms, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.
• Provide training support for Trainers including scheduling class time. Registering participants and providing materials.
• Facilitate Induction training and other soft skills training.
• Provide feedback to programme participants and management.
• Provide direction and guidance on training and assessment-related matters.
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate training reports, correspondences, analytical studies, and other written materials.

To be considered for the position, the applicant must have the following:
• Grade Twelve Certificate
• Diploma or better in any field
• Certificate in Safety and Health will be an added advantage.
• TEVETA accreditation as Trainer / Assessor will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 Years Teaching /Training experience
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) added advantage.
• Teaching Methodology an added advantage
• Facilitation / Presentative / Coaching skills
