JOB DETAILS:

Okavango Foods Limited, renowned for providing high-quality food products and catering services, is seeking an experienced and passionate Shawarma Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, season, and cook shawarma meats to perfection.
• Make fresh shawarma bread and garlic sauce from scratch.
• Skillfully roll shawarmas neatly and efficiently.
• Manage shawarma station ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and high-quality output.
• Develop and maintain recipes, ensuring consistent flavor and quality.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering ingredients and supplies as required.
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Shawarma Chef or similar role.
• Proven expertise in preparation and cooking shawarma dishes, including garlic sauce and bread-making.

Requirements:

• Must reside in Lusaka, preferably near or around the Woodlands area.
• Exceptional culinary skills with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
