JOB DETAILS:
Role Purpose: Sports Café Manager
Reporting to the Director, the Café Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café ensuring a positive customer experience, and managing staff and resources efficiently.

Key Accountabilities:
• Staff Management: Hire, train and supervise staff; manage shifts and payroll, coaching, discipline of staff, including bartenders, servers and kitchen personnel.
• Customer Service: Ensure high standards and deal with all customer complaints
• Manage the Restaurant and the Bar: Menu preparations, costing, pricing, cocktail development, and managing beverages
• Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of food, beverages, and ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste
• Financial Management: Prepare budgets, monitor expenses and performance of the business including sales and profits
• Marketing and Promotions: Develop and create market strategies that will attract customers
• Compliance: Ensure that all business licenses are up to date; compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Facility Management: Safeguard and maintain all company assets; ensure cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere
• Event Coordination: Plan and organize special events
• Reporting: Provide accurate reports including records of sales, inventory, employee performance etc.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Full Grade 12 Certificate with Diploma in Food Production, hospitality, business administration or related field
• Degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
• At least three (3) years of proven management experience in the hospitality industry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective Communication Skills
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
• Leadership skills with ability to lead and motivate a team
• Knowledge of beverages – familiarity with different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food service.
