Background
Trade Kings Limited is a leading manufacturer of quality detergent soaps, household products, dairy products and confectionery. Its Head Office is located in the Lusaka’s Light Industrial Area along Nampundwe Road, Off Mumbwa Road. In its quest to maintain quality service delivery, the company seeks to recruit qualified highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions.
Job Overview
Responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to increase product visibility and sales across retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Manage and develop retail channels
- Oversee campaigns, in-store promotions, and POS materials
- Manage budgets and resource allocation
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams
- Build and manage relationships with retail partners
- Track performance and provide data-driven insights
- Lead and develop the trade marketing team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum 7 years’ experience (5 years in leadership) in FMCG
- Strong understanding of retail and distribution channels
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Project management and leadership experience
- Proficiency in CRM, ERP, POS, and analytics tools
- Experience in procurement and development of POS materials (local and international vendors)
- Proven experience running consumer activation campaigns (in-store, digital, mobile, WhatsApp, etc.)
