Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all operational documents of the company are meticulously organized.
  • Maintaining the smooth functioning of general office services.
  • Designing and implementing effective filing systems.
  • Managing stock levels and ensuring adequate office supplies.
  • Updating and maintaining the personnel database accurately.
  • Reconciling sales from retail outlets and ensuring daily banking of cash.
  • Efficiently managing payroll and staff compensations.
  • Registering and ensuring compliance with statutory bodies such as NAPSA, NHIMA, and Workers Compensation.
  • Submitting taxes and ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
  • Producing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports pertaining to finances.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective liaison with suppliers, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and updated.
  • Managing relationships with statutory bodies such as the Gaming Board, ZRA, City Council, NHIMA, and handling other office correspondences efficiently.
  • Maintaining an updated fixed assets register.
  • Safeguarding and meticulously filing all company documents.
  • Ensuring the office is well-organized and equipped with necessary resources.
  • Renewing all necessary licenses and permits including Book Maker’s, Annual Business permit, Fire certificates, etc.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management, administrative operations, or a similar role for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications such as MS Office Suite and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
