Job Summary:

To construct, install, and repair wooden structures, roofing components, and furniture items using woodworking tools and techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble wooden frameworks, roofing trusses, formwork, and furniture.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Operate woodworking machinery (saws, planners, routers) and hand tools.
• Select appropriate lumber and materials for each project.
• Ensure all work is precise, sturdy, and meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on composite projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Craft Certificate in Carpentry or Joinery.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a carpenter in construction or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry.
• Knowledge of different wood types and treatment methods.
