Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation and commissioning of security inspection systems, including X-ray machines and cargo scanners.

Conduct routine maintenance and promptly address electrical faults to minimize system downtime.

Ensure that all electrical components and systems are adjusted to meet operational standards.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.

Work closely with supervisor and other technicians to support system upgrades and respond to technical challenges.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

Certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)

Active membership with Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)

At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in Air cons, computers and electrical systems.

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting electrical circuits, and using diagnostic tools.

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Working Conditions:

Work may be conducted in various settings, including border posts and airports.

Flexibility to work outside standard hours may be required to accommodate system installations or urgent maintenance.

Occasional travel to different sites within Zambia may be necessary.
