Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Finance Business Partner role based in Lusaka Province, Zambia. The Finance Business Partner will work closely with operational and commercial teams to support strategic and operational decision-making through robust financial analysis and insight. Daily responsibilities include preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance against targets, and providing variance analysis and recommendations. The role will also involve overseeing financial reporting processes, supporting business planning activities, evaluating investment opportunities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. The Finance Business Partner will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive profitability, improve cost efficiency, and enhance financial discipline across the business.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance with experience in Financial Reporting and management of financial statements.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Business Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP or accounting systems), and familiarity with budgeting and reporting software.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance teams and senior leadership.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, or manufacturing sectors is an added advantage.
