The interested candidate will be responsible for

  • Operating and monitoring production machinery related to alcohol manufacturing.
  • Setting up machines, adjusting controls, and performing necessary tests to ensure the efficient and accurate production of alcohol products.
  • Conducting routine inspections of machinery, identify potential issues, and performing regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving minor technical problems, making adjustments or requesting assistance as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Accurately documenting production activities, including machine performance, quality control checks, and maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualification and skills:

  • Diploma in mechanical engineering and a Grade 12 school certificate.
  • 4 years of experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven track record of operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production output.
  • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various types of manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic understanding of alcohol manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any technical issues.
  • Strong commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
