Background
Our client in the retail industry is seeking experienced and results-driven professionals to fill the following position:
Receiving Manager
Role Overview:
Responsible for managing stock receiving operations and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in inventory handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving operations in line with SOPs
- Verify stock against purchase orders and invoices
- Ensure proper documentation and GRN capturing
- Implement FIFO stock management
- Prevent acceptance of expired or damaged stock
- Manage claims and supplier discrepancies
- Maintain receiving area organization and control
Requirements:
- Experience in receiving or inventory management (retail preferred)
- Strong understanding of FIFO and stock systems
- High attention to detail
- Good leadership and reporting skills
