JOB DETAILS:

Healthy Learners is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working to improve the health and wellbeing of school-going children across Zambia. To enhance efficiency and transparency in the procurement of goods, works, and services, Healthy Learners is inviting suitably qualified and reputable suppliers to register as vendors in various categories for the period 2025–2026.

This registration exercise seeks to prequalify suppliers who will be considered for future procurements in line with Healthy Learners’ internal policies and regulations.

CATEGORIES FOR SUPPLIER REGISTRATION

1. Accommodation and Conference Facilities

• Provision of accommodation and conferencing services across all provinces.
• Must demonstrate availability of secure facilities with catering, conferencing equipment, and internet access.
• Copy of valid business license from relevant local authority.
• ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Past corporate client references.

2. Aluminum Works

• Supply and installation of aluminum partitions, windows, and doors.
• Must demonstrate technical capacity and experience with aluminum fabrications.
• Evidence of past works (completion certificates or client references).

3. Catering Services

• Provision of catering services for workshops, training sessions, events and staff lunch (Inside and outside catering services)
• Must comply with health and safety regulations.
• Evidence of prior catering contracts with corporate/NGOs.

4. Cleaning Materials

• Supply of detergents, disinfectants, brooms, mops, buckets, sanitizers, and other cleaning accessories.
• Must demonstrate timely delivery capacity.

5. Cement

• Supply and delivery of cement (bulk) and transportation to various locations
• within Zambia.

6. Doors and Accessories

• Supply of wooden, steel, and specialized doors including locks, hinges, handles, and related accessories.
• Evidence of technical expertise and past similar works.

7. General Supplies

• Supply of assorted goods not covered under other specific categories.
• Must provide a company profile outlining capacity to handle multiple product categories.

8. Hardware

• Supply of general hardware materials, tools, fasteners, roofing sheets, plumbing  and electrical fittings, nails, etc.
• Demonstrate adequate stock holding capacity.

9. Information Technology (IT) Equipment and Accessories

• Supply of laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, toners, UPS, and network accessories.
• Must provide manufacturer authorization or dealership certificate for major brands.
• Warranty terms must be included.

10. Metal Work and Fabrication

• Supply and fabrication of grills, frames, and related metal works.
• Evidence of technical capacity, equipment, and previous projects.

11. Office Furniture

• Supply and delivery of desks, chairs, cabinets, shelves, and other office furnishings.
• Must provide catalogues with pictures and specifications.

12. Paints and Accessories

• Supply of paints, primers, thinners, brushes, rollers, and related accessories.

13. Printing Works

• Printing of training manuals, booklets, training materials, business cards, banners, and branded items.

14. Solar Equipment and Accessories

• Supply, installation, and maintenance of solar units, panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and related accessories.
• Must demonstrate technical expertise and capacity for after-sales support.
• Certification or partnership with reputable solar brands will be an added advantage.

15. Stationery

• Supply of general office stationery including bond paper, pens, pencils, notebooks, files, staplers, toners, and cartridges.
• Evidence of reliable supply chain.

16. Supply and Branding of Corporate Materials

• Supply of branded corporate items such as T-shirts, caps, pens, folders, bags, and banners.
• Must provide evidence of printing/branding capacity.
• Samples or past work portfolio required.

17. Travel and Air Ticketing Services

• Provision of domestic and international air ticketing services.
• Provision of hotel booking and shuttle arrangements.
• Must be IATA certified or demonstrate partnerships with recognized travel agencies.
• 24-hour service availability for emergency bookings.

18. Transportation Services

• Provision of transportation and logistics services for last-mile deliveries.
• Hire of different truck tonnage and 4×4 vehicles for hire (both self-drive and with drivers).
• Must demonstrate road worthy fleet capacity, insurance cover, compliance with RTSA and timely delivery record.

Past corporate/NGO references required.

ELIGIBILITY

This registration exercise is open to both new and existing suppliers nationwide who meet the stated requirements. Suppliers are encouraged to apply for one or more categories relevant to their business capacity.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CATEGORIES

Interested suppliers must submit the following documents along with their application:

• Company Profile (with physical and postal address, telephone, and email contacts).
• Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration from PACRA.
• PACRA Printout – Shareholders information.
• Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate.
• TPIN Certificate.
• Three (03) months latest bank statement.
• At least three (03) traceable references from past clients.
• Proof of registration with relevant professional/regulatory bodies (where applicable).
• Indicate category applied for (suppliers may apply for more than one category).
