The purpose of this assignment is to produce a draft policy brief that will enable the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock to address the challenges posed by the predicted impacts of climate change on the aquaculture sub-sector. The assignment is for 29 days.
Requirements
- University degree or other relevant qualification in fisheries, environment, aquaculture, climate change or other relevant subject.
- Relevant higher degree an advantage.
- At least ten (10) years of general professional experience in a field related to the assignment
- At least three years’ experience specifically working on climate change issues
- Experience of working on at least one Development Partner-funded project an advantage
- Experience working in Southern Africa, in particular Zambia, desired
