Harakati Logistics Zambia Limited is a company that is in the transportation and logistics business. We are looking for motivated and experienced Drivers to join our team.

Responsibilities or duties:

• - Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to collect parts from suppliers on time
• - Work occasional evenings and weekends
• - Complete daily maintenance checks vehicles and notify manager of any issues
• - Loads product on truck for delivery when necessary
• - Checks condition of load for safe transportation, and rearranges as necessary
• - Reports unusual traffic conditions and other hazards noted enroute
• - Reports promptly any unusual delays or difficulties regarding delivery sites
• - Unloading product carefully
• - Keeps record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarks
• - Reports all accidents involving driver or company equipment
• - Maintains vehicle and equipment
• - Inspects vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition
• - Uses and cares properly for all equipment assigned to the driver for the performance of duties
• - Ensures the trucks are clean and well maintained at all times
• - Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

Qualifications or requirements:

• - Grade 12 Certificate
• - Able to drive driven Chinese trucks Sino, shacman and FAW trucks
• - Valid Drivers Licence CE, PSV, DG
• - 3 to 5 years experience
• - Valid Passport
• - Cross Border Driver
